This recipe yields exactly the type of hummus you’d except to enjoy at a Turkish restaurant – it’s rich, creamy and filling, perfect with flat bread.
Time: 20 minutes
1 can chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup tahini paste
3 garlic cloves
1 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1. Mix the chickpeas, tahini paste, garlic and lemon juice in a food processor.
2. Pulse until smooth then gradually drizzle in half of the olive oil, mixing well.
3. Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl and top it with the remaining olive oil.
4. Serve the hummus fresh.
